FLOC was started by Avani Malhotra, an entrepreneur at heart, a Masters in Psychology and chocolate lover and my super-talented, ex-financial consultant, now chef-in-training, younger sister, Akriti Malhotra.

FLOC started as a hobby, six jobs later, at the not-so-tender age of 24, Avani realized, the one thing that did bring her joy was baking and that was really when the idea of creating For The Love of Cake was born. She didn’t merely want to create products that were visually appealing and delicious to taste but the mission and goal was to cater to the clients’ needs and never stop innovating. The small business started with selling cakes to closest friends, family, family friends, and co-workers and now makes cakes for different occasions from weddings, birthdays to parties.
