Champagne Events Mexico is a wedding planning company founded by expats who fell in love with Mexico and are passionate about sharing all the wonders that Mexico has to offer with international couples who are looking for unique places full of history, breathtaking architecture, abundant nature, delightful weather, professional service by the friendly locals, and vibrant culture that excites all the senses.
The company traces its roots back over 9 years ago to Floreser Eventos, a company started by event designer Mariluz Register, founder and creative director of Champagne Events Mexico. Floreser Eventos, still in operation today, is an event design and decoration business that services the large domestic market in Mexico. During the early years of event designing and decorating, Mariluz discovered the stunning amount of spectacular venues located in Mexico City and the surrounding states and noted that these were almost, without exception, unknown outside of Mexico. At that point, Mariluz traveled to New York City to certify as a wedding planner and returned to Mexico to found Champagne Events along with her husband and business manager, Steve Register, who has managed international, cut flower growing, manufacturing and export businesses out of Colombia and Mexico. In order to further, broaden her talents and offering, Mariluz traveled in 2019 to certify as a South East Asian wedding planner.
