Freedom Group was established in 1994, on August 15, India’s Independence Day. With the sole objective of giving its clients a unique experience whether travel or stay, we at Freedom Group strive to become Goa’s ambassador worldwide by attracting tourists from all parts of the globe. From our humble roots as a small tour operator, we have expanded into a major business group which upholds the essence of freedom. The group comprises of four main companies – Freedom Holidays, Freedom Events, Freedom Travel Services and Freedom Aero Services. All four companies are staffed and managed by highly experienced professionals, whose skills are continually honed through training programmes both external and in-house. Our team of professionals are distinguished in the art of hospitality and having a good local rapport with the airlines, hoteliers and airport authorities.
Freedom Group’s subsidiaries are well recognised and highly respected in India and abroad for its wide range of services that include ground handling of charter flights, foreign tourist arrivals, ticketing and reservations of air, rail and bus tickets, hotel bookings as well as sight-seeing tours and holiday packages suited for individuals and families with varying budgets. After coming into existence in 1994, within a short while, at Freedom Group, we started our first overseas business venture with M/s. Caledonian Airways Ltd. from the United Kingdom and presently still function as its authorised representatives, besides representing Britannia Airways, Flying Colors of UK, Air Tours and other airlines. Our main function consists of supervising all the services provided by the handling company as per IATA regulations. The above airlines currently operate one of the biggest aircrafts introduced in Goa, L- 1011, B-767 and B-757, which cater to passengers from the United Kingdom. Freedom Group has won numerous accolades and is well recognised by the Director of Tourism – Government of Goa and the Travel and Tourism Association of Goa (TTAG).
