We are a couple that got married on October 3, 2015 and we celebrated it in the Intercontinental hotel, to all the couples that are thinking about where to celebrate your wedding I recommend without hesitation this hotel. We visited all the 5 star hotels and some of 4 in Madrid, after a lot of looking we stayed with this for quality-price and location.
From the first moment they gave us all kinds of facilities when it comes to organizing our wedding (music, flowers, Candy bar ...). For us, the most important thing was that the food was of very good quality and after the menu test we had no doubts. They have several menus already closed but then you can combine dishes from different menus or order them to serve you a particular dish.
We celebrated the dinner in the Albéniz lounge which is a beautiful old ballroom with spectacular lamps and that leads directly to the Paseo de la Castellana so you do not have the feeling of being locked up at any time. The dance was organized in the Granados room, it is a room with carpets so they put a wooden platform so we could dance more comfortable. As the rooms are communicated the guests who did not want to dance stayed at their table being able to listen to the music and continue enjoying the dance without the need to have to stand.
We celebrate the cocktail in the hall which is wonderful, it has a spectacular dome, armchairs for the guests to sit on and, above all, a pianist who entertains the moment with live music.
The dinner was perfect, the food spectacular in terms of quality and presentation; there were guests who did not tell us about their food allergies but it was not a problem because the waiters asked them what they wanted and they brought it to them immediately. The service enchanted everyone, served all tables at the same time and with a speed and professionalism worthy of mention, at all times they served you wine, water or what you would take so no guest had the empty glass and anything what you need, you could ask her to bring it to the second one.
Although we have already done it in person, we want to thank once again all the staff of the hotel their kindness and professionalism since they made our wedding to be the best they have attended for most of our guests.

Choosing our wedding with the intercontinental hotel was one of the greatest successes we could have. The relation quality price is unbeatable: I do not think there are other places in the center of Madrid that have the professionalism, quality in the food, environment, decoration, luxury, elegance, exquisiteness and good treatment than this hotel. To all this, add the existence of an interior garden that allows smokers to leave without leaving the facilities. In addition, Lorena, the person in charge of events, is pleasant, attentive and very decisive. No question was left half-way; and in everything he knew how to find a solution that would adapt to our needs. I would recommend it without hesitation. An absolute ten.
