Background
The millenary history of this prestigious structure begins in 1003, when the city of Bari, under the siege of the Moors, decided to ask for help from the Doge of Venice, Pietro II Orseolo.
On their journey to Bari, the Doge and his fleet stopped in the city of Molfetta to organize the counter-offensive against the Moors; here the doge fell in love with the splendid cove calling it La Perla. Thus was born the structure that with a recent restoration has recovered all the prestige of an ancient Venetian noble setting.
La Perla Del Doge brought me beautiful moments and made my wedding the best day of my life. The amazing food, the sea around the beautiful location, the love shared by the staff always professional and helpful with every request, the special effects during the cut of the cake .... We chose this lovely place because of its location, directly on the sea, without knowing what kind of service they would offer us, but today we can say that even that is the best! Punctual, precise, elegant, in impeccable words. Delicious dishes, presented in an inviting way, and finely arranged tables. Waiters, head nurse and director have finally spent to better organize the cutting of the cake despite the strong wind! One glance was enough to satisfy our needs and satisfy them. Thank you so much!
