Originally from Accra, Ghana, Vishal Punjabi has had an educational background in IT, Drama, Filmmaking and Business. In 2000, after receiving a call from Shah Rukh Khan, Vishal moved to Mumbai to join Red Chillies Entertainment as a line producer.
After dabbling in feature films and advertising for a decade, The Wedding Filmer was conceived in 2010 while Vishal was shooting a friend’s wedding as part of script research for his upcoming feature film. Today, the company holds the status of being global pioneers in cinematic wedding films.
The Wedding Filmer crew includes some of the world’s biggest and brightest talent from film and advertising. This isn’t just limited to the cinematographers who shoot for us but we have an equally strong editing team back at the studio which works tirelessly for months to ensure that our clients get a film they will cherish for generations.
Having delivered films to over a hundred happy clients and winning 55 film festival awards, The Wedding Filmer is a name to be reckoned with when it comes to crafting timeless memories.
