The shade

Foundation often creates a visible line of demarcation from the jawline to the neck giving the impression that your face is a different color than the rest of your body. Finding the right shade of foundation is an area that many women struggle. Be sure to test your foundation color in natural sunlight, because fluorescent lighting can alter the way a foundation looks. If you dab a tiny bit of foundation on your neck and can no longer see it once it dries, it’s most likely the right shade for you. Don’t forget that you can also gently blend in bronzer if a shade is just a tad bit too light. Just don’t overdo the bronzer or you’ll end up making another beauty mistake! Your foundation should look invisible and leave people wondering if your skin is really that perfect. Get to know more about Indian Wedding Show through pictures on Instagram.

Eyeshadow

Now, this can happen to the best of us and living in a warm climate will only add to the problem. Eyeshadow creasing can be caused by not using a primer, using a low quality primer, or simply living in a hot or humid climate. Primers are usually clear or colorless formulas that are used to prolong eyeshadow. Invest in a high quality primer. A primer is necessary to keep your eyelids’ natural oils at bay which can cause eyeshadow creasing. If you’re using an eyeshadow base, keep it underneath the crease of your eye in order to prevent excessive creasing. To get the smoothest coverage, figure out if your foundation is silicone, water, or oil-based. Then start experimenting with primers. If you have a heavier coverage silicone based foundation, using an oil-based primer will cause your foundation to slip off. If you use a lighter coverage foundation, using a silicone-based primer might cause lightweight foundations to break up. Mistakes you should not make in your look when choosing accessories for your outfit.

Mascara

Mascara does wonders for the eyes. Not only does it define the eyes without using eyeliner, it also opens up the eyes to give the appearance of larger, more youthful eyes. Over-applying mascara can lead to a clumpy mess known endearingly as “spider lashes.” Unfortunately, it is not the full lash effect that we all strive for. These are caused by over-applying mascara or just using a cheap brand of mascara altogether. Skip the second coat of mascara, switch mascaras altogether, or use a spoolie brush or lash comb to separate your lashes. Sometimes spray a spoolie with water to re-dampen your lashes so they’re easier to move around. But don’t spray water into your mascara tube or brush- that’ll cause contamination. If you get mascara on your skin and not on your eyelashes, don’t remove it right away! Wait for it to dry completely and use a cotton swab to flake it off. If you try to remove it wet, it will smudge and stain! How to be Perfect in Your Wedding Photos: 8 Mistakes to Avoid!

Eye Brows

Eyebrows frame the face, so either neglecting them or over-enhancing them is a mistake! Filling in your eyebrows is very important as it can complete your look in one simple step. Just be wary of what colors suit your brows. However, finding the right shade is crucial or you’ll look unnatural or washed out. For fair for light-haired ladies, opt for a couple shades darker than your hair, for darker hair, going one to two shades lighter than your natural hair/brow color will define your brows without them looking unnatural. Keep your brows in tip top shape in line with your choice of hair removal to get a more feminine look. Fill them in with a pencil or powder of your choice, but always with a light hand. And whatever you do, please don’t over-pluck. How to avoid these mistakes at the time of jewellery shopping.

Lip Liner

Lip liner is amazing and it can do wonders. While lip lining was created to help make the lips appear larger, the wrong application technique can force you to commit these lip liner sins. First off, make sure you do not apply your lip liner as an outline. Doing this ends up looking like a clown and can actually make your lips appear smaller. Instead of just applying lip liner on the outline edge of your lips, outline your lips and then fill in your lips with liner so that it gives a base for your lipstick to go on.  Also, leave the very centre of your lips bare—this not only will give the appearance of fuller lips, but you won’t get that awkward looking ring outline whenever your lipstick fades from drinking on a night out. Over-Blushing

Nothing will make you look crazier than too much or poorly applied blush. Always keep in mind your skin tone – olive skin looks best with warmer tones, fair skin with pink or rosy tones and dark skin with plum or berry. Bold blush can be a fresh, adorable look for the warm summer months. However, there are times when bold blush can cross a fine line, leaving an unsuspecting woman looking just plain bad. Avoid applying your blush too close to your nose, undereye area, and temples. Make sure to buy your accessories from Beau Monde.

Over-powdering

Many women think translucent powder is their best friend but actually, it’s not. Not only will so-called translucent powder leave you looking dry, white and cakey, but it will also settle in all of your fine lines and wrinkles.By over-powdering, you create a flat mask-like look and destroy your natural radiance. Choose a light powder and use it only where needed. Never powder over excessively oily skin without using blotting papers first; you will end up with a chalky appearance. Control your oil with the right oil-free skincare and makeup products. If you are interested in mehndi then go for Geeta Patels.
