Situated in idyllic surroundings, The Sea Horse Resort is nestled in the foothills of Baga-Arpora, a little less than a kilometer from the popular Baga Beach and a few 100 metres away from the well-known Saturday Night Market ( Mackies Night Bazaar).Further away in Anjuna is the Wednesday Flea Market. In the opposite direction is the well-known Calangute Beach approx 4-5 kms and the entire coastal strip offers innumerable opportunities for water sports like Parasailing, Jet-skiing and Banana Boat rides or just a ‘Sussegado’ getaway which in traditional Goa style translates as ‘Relaxed’ or ‘Easy-going’. Nearer the resort and approx 2-3 kms away is the hub of the night life in Goa like Tito’s, Mambos and the Casino La Calypso to name a few. The entire stretch of road from Baga to Calangute to Candolim and Sinquerim is lined with shops where the discerning shopper can test their bargaining skills and return home with exquisite souvenirs. At The Sea Horse Resort we believe in preserving the environment and all the materials used in the construction are environment friendly. Hot water comes from the solar heaters installed with a back up of geysers besides the use of CFL lamps to conserve electricity. The use of non-biodegradable materials is kept to the minimum. A good hotel located in Arpora near the Saturday Nite Bazaar ground.. It is little inside from the main road and even though several sign board guide you to the place, there are high chances the you'll get lost.. However, once you are there it is easy to remember the direction.. The exact location of hotel is incorrect on Google Maps.. The best way to reach here is to take the road right next to Rasa Restaurant on main road and take the right at T point (Hotel La Vida).. Speaking about the amenities, we didn't face any problem during our 3 nights stay.. Couple of negligible issues were noticed but were addressed immediately.. We were able to park our car outside the hotel as they don't have dedicated parking space.. Hotel arranged Activa scooters for local travelling quickly at reasonable price (better than other hotels we stayed in the past in Goa).. Staff is friendly, buffet breakfast is good (Indian breakfast).. Location can be an issue who need a beach nearby as Baga is nearest beach at 1.8km.. Otherwise it definitely is a worthy place to stay..
This is a very good 3 star resort.. cleanliness was very good.. location is great if you can ignore it's entrance.. very prompt service, great variety in complimentary breakfast.. overall value for money..will definitely recommend..
