Weddings in India are not about getting two people together but it is special bond in between two families. Meet the couple here, our bride is Neha and groom is Som. Neha is a Delhi girl who is living in UK and Som is from Bangalore. Their marriage was arranged cum love, with the couple meeting through an online marriage site. The photographer Soumen Nath Photography represented their special moment very well and brings them alive.
The Couple
Their meeting is totally different than others, they didn’t meet at any party or through a common friend, but by force from her parents, Neha made her account at Matrimonial website, where people search for their life partner, here she found Som’s profile too. Her parents met Som’s parents at Bangalore as Neha was in UK at that time. She came to India in October to celebrate her birthday and religious function Durga Puja. And finally they met on a Friday afternoon – at a Mexican restaurant. Som is a very shy guy but a true gentlemen. After all Neha left for London and they both continued contacting each other through social media.
Som proposed to Neha through Whatsapp by sending a image with a red rose and the text in “Dangsin-eun Jeowa Gyeolhon hal geos(Korean)” which means “Will you marry me? Now, who can say no to that? And Neha responded “ye, saranghae” which is korean for “Yes , I love you”, as she is Korean lover.
The Ceremony
The Dream Day has been arrived! Ceremonies of their wedding is Begali based as they belong to bengali traditions, Bengali wedding is combination of six ceremonies: Adan Pradan, Aashirbaad, Vridhi Puja, Aai Budo Bhaat, Gae Halud Tattva, Dodhi Mongol.Everyone along with couple enjoyed all the ceremonies of their dream wedding like Mehandi, Rajesh Mehendi Art ,from Gurgaon was there to paint hina on Neha’s hands. Makeup artist and stylist Archana Chatterjee were called from Patna.
All their valuable and priceless moments of their cheerfulness and jubilation are beautifully capture by the photographer Soumen Nath. Soumen Nath is a Candid wedding photographer, he capture the moments, feeling of Bride and Groom and happiness of the family, not the poses.

Neha and Som are our couple, who recently exchanged their rings, and celebrated their precious moment of their dreams at Club Nirvana, Unitech Ltd in Delhi. And got married at Club Patio SouthCity , Unitech Ltd in Delhi. Interior of Club Nirwana and Club Patio was so good that it made their Wedding Ceremony looked more Extraordinary.
