The dream day of Pallavi and Prabhas arrived. On that day they both took seven vows and promised each other to be partners for whole life no matter what. That’s the power of love: it has no limits. This beautiful wedding took place at Sofitel, Krabi. It was a destination wedding: a beach side spa and golf resort. They both wanted an international destination wedding at a sub-tropical location – it proved to be a slice of paradise!
When they first met eyes
Pallavi and Prabhas are both are from Calcutta, but this is not where they met and fell in love. The love story began in London. You must be asking how this happened if they are from Calcutta. It turns out they were both studying in the same London university, and started falling in love day by day. Attending classes together, coffee, outings with friends and so on.
Wedding Attire
The most time consuming aspect in every wedding is the wedding dress, it is so confusing choosing color, material, and fabric, light or heavy ….oh so many questions typically arise at that moment in time. Pallavi wore Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla for her mehndi ceremony and on sangeet she took collection from Anamika and selected Gaurav Gupta for the Thai Night, for the dream day she went for the all traditional look.Men do think about their wedding outfits too! Prabhas selected best dress amongst the best wedding dress designers that is no other than he choose Sabyasachi for his wedding day to make the wedding remarkable.
Venue
Pallavi and Prabhas wedding was a destination wedding at Hotel Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Golf and Spa Resort. – a beach side spa and golf resort, they both wanted an international destination wedding at a sub-tropical location. The luxury resort in Krabi offers 276 elegant styled rooms and suites set within a beautiful tropical garden. Guests at the beach resort enjoy the largest lagoon swimming pool in Krabi, a spa, restaurants serving Thai, Italian and Indian cuisine, and luxury speedboat tours to nearby island.

Ceremonies
Pallavi is a Marwari while Prabhas is Punjabi, so it was a multi-cultural wedding comprising of various wedding rituals from both sides.The wedding events included traditional Thai guest welcome and Thai night on the first day, Mehndi and Sangeet on the second day and Haldi and Wedding on the third day.
Mehndi décor was themed around Punjabi culture. It included a giant truck shaped photo booth and Punjabi folk singers.For the Thai night, a 30 feet high tower of the champagne glasses was the highlight of the décor. Local Thai dancers, fire breathers and kick boxers entertained the guests.The Sangeet décor was aqua themed. The wedding itself was a more traditional affair with a floating wedding mandap setup inside the pool!
Memorable Moments:The Bride
The wedding itself is the most memorable day of her life! So Pallavi’s most unforgettable moment was seeing everyone in her family so happy during all the wedding ceremonies.
The Groom
The most memorable moment for groom was when he saw his princess in her wedding attire. His heart beats stop for a while at that time as she was looking very pretty in her bridal finery. He was very happy at that moment you can’t even imagine that moment of life.
