The heartwarming love story of Anup Chandran and Nehal Thakkar that will leave you mesmerised.
A story made of stuff that inspired Shakespeare, Chandran and Thakkar both met with an accident in 2003 and 2005 respectively. Believe it or not, it was the same location where they had the accident albeit in different years, and even stranger, the outcome was the same, the couple was left wheelchair-bound.
This did not stop them from giving up on love, having met at a common friends’ gathering the chemistry was instant and soon love blossomed. However, this was just the start of a long battle for this couple. Both belong to culturally very different families, Chandran is from the South and Nehal belongs to an orthodox Gujarati community.
It took them seven years to convince their families of their love never once giving up on the fight for their love and determined to tie-the-knot. Finally agreeing the two families have now become one, and this incredible couple are finally Mr. and Mrs.
Their magical wedding took place at the plush Grand Hyatt, Mumbai, where guests were entertained by the band Naitik Nagda. The bride wore Sabyasachi and of course felt like a princess once her makeup was done by Ojas Rajani and her look was complete. Captured by 361 Degree Productions, these two lovebirds have enough images to relive this day every day. Friends and family gathered for this wedding and truly gave the bride and groom a day they will never forget! Whoever said that fairytales don’t come true, needs to meet this duo!
